Here’s coaching. While we were getting pasted by SC, both Ohio State and Oregon State also fell behind by 21-0 scores. Both Tressell and Riley coached their teams back into contention while JT guided us to 42-0 deficit and then had the gall to say we won the second half. for 2.8M I expect better.

Seriously GoBear, you think Riley is the reason we’re getting our lunch handed to us? You think Riley game plans these fiascos? You think riley was responsible for 50 against Nevada? You think Riley was at fault for 42 first half points against SC? It’s nice to have a whipping boy, but this isn’t about riley, this is about who recruited him, taught him and put him in these impossible situations.

Plenty of other teams have backup qbs that are decent. There is no excuse for this.

Mike13050, give me a break. This is about Riley. He was our best QB this year, period. We lost him in Q1, and Mansion didn’t get any game-planning reps this week.

Where was the penalty flag on that play? Clearly the guy went for Riley’s legs. I’m fuming right now. We’ve got no shot to win the Big Game now.

This hasn’t been about Riley since 2009. How can we have six QBs on scholarship and this is the best we can do? Mansion technique is as flawed as Riley.

Disappointing. Though Riley has been inconsistent, it is obvious from the game thus far that he gave us the best chance to win this season. Mansion has a cannon, but doesn’t seem to know where to aim it or when to fire it.

I’m pretty worried about the last several games given how Mansion is playing. We should expect everyone to put 9 in the box. It will be necessary for our QB, whether Mansion or Sweeney, to hit throws to single-covered receivers.
