Football: Tedford flagged

Jeff Tedford was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for excessive arguing after Keenan Allen’s helmet was ripped off by Oregon State’s Uani Unga on a kick return and there was no flag thrown.

Amazing how easy it is for officials to take the bears out of the game.

I think the bears are saving their energy for the second half because you know, according to Tedford, you may lose the whole game but as long as you win the (first or) second half, you are basically tied, and that’s OK.

True but this is the worst officiated game I have ever seen. Totally unacceptable.

This disaster is not about the referees. JT can blame anyone he wants, and surely he will, but he needs to look in the mirror.

We weren’t going to beat these guys anyway, but the refs made sure of that. My blood is boiling right now because we never had a shot. These refs are comical.

JT never blames anyone but himself. I challenge you to find a single comment he has made over the last decade that implies he wasn’t accepting full responsibility for a loss.

Good for Jeff! The refs did call some shady penalties.
