The tough pre-Pac-10 schedule should help the Bears at the outset, when playing first Stanford and the Arizonas on the road. Apparently only ASU’s schedule compares thus far with Cal’s.

This young team is getting some excellent experience going up against strong, mature teams and it is helping them to understand/learn in a huarry how to play with intensity and toughness.

Hopefully, this will help them with their first 5 games, the 3 above on the road and then at home to the Washington schools.
