Basketball: Arizona holds off in-state rival

— Arizona 63, Northern Arizona 58: The visitors from Flagstaff, Ariz., led 31-24 at halftime, but Kevin Parrom made a late 3-point play and finished with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists as the Wildcats (9-2) remained unbeaten in seven games at McKale Center. ¬†Derrick Williams scored 17 points, thanks mainly to a 9-for-10 effort at the free throw line. Reserves accounted for 28 of the Cats’ 63 points.
