Please. The guy was hit significantly.
He wasn’t going to make that shot, but you pretty much HAVE to call the foul. Everyone hates it, but it was a foul, not cheating.

I strongly disagree with Percy Allen’s first comment that the PAC 10 has scarce meaningful wins. I agree the PAC 10 isn’t a powerhouse, but here’s a few off the top of my head- which are way, way more than last year at this point. WSU and Az will be ranked soon:

WSU over Baylor, gonzaga, MSU
USC over Tenn and Texas
UCLA over BYU, and Kansas (except cheating prevented the win)
Arizona over Oklahoma and NC St
Cal over Temple, New Mex, Iowa st.

His comment gives me hope that I can be a sportswriter, since clearly knowledge and research aren’t important.

I like the way Bob Clark – whoever he is – admitted in the first answer he was wrong in his expectations, and how he admits he still hasn’t seen USC play in his final response. Like, we don’t expect writers to have seen every game by every team. But it’s nice when they don’t come off as if they have. And we know nobody can watch every game, as there are simply way too many.
This is not a commentary on anyone else here, just refreshing for someone to qualify their statements. See, then we can all share in the discussion on equal terms. We are all fans who catch many games, not all. You guys are just the professional writers while we are hacks. But we can share in the discussion equally.
