Pretty much every year there are surprises, and Stanford may be this year’s. As a Bear fan/follower, from what has happened so far, it is easy to believe that Stanford may well prove to be better than one of the so-called “top tier” teams, meaning Arizona.

However, it is not time to type-cast any of the teams.
Over the season each team plays home and away with every other team in the league to sort out the pecking order.

At this point, one can expect the league to be “jumbled.”

WSU and ASU are a bit worse than expected and the Bay Area teams a bit better, but otherwise, looks pretty near par to me.
