I agree that would get us in. I tried to find a list of the worst at large selections to the ncaas. I couldn't find anything, but I know some teams with very tough SOS have gotten in at 19-12 ish. Might be even tougher this year since the PAC 10 doesn't exist, according to ESPN.

6-3 with 2 wins in the tourney gets us to 20 wins, which is usually the benchmark. that would put us at a solid #3 in the conference. i think it'll happen. even if it doesn't we'd still be in the nit with a good chance to win it. i really like this team. so fun to watch.

The tournament wil be very very difficult unless cal wins the conference tourney.

At 12-9 we'll need to go 7-2 to finish conference. I dont think 6-3 is enough.

The Bears have put themselves in a good position to do something big and really make some noise down the stretch. The way they closed today was very impressive.
It won't be easy but I see no reason why Cal can't keep winning a lot of games and go to the ncaa tournament.
If they keep playing as hard and competing as well as they have been this team will keep getting better and better.
Will be fun to see if they can put it all together and make it happen.
Great win today.
Go Bears

Nice seeing Jerome in the crowd. So, 5 and 4 after the first half of Pac-10 play. That's pretty decent. The Bears lost close ones to both UCLA and Arizona in road games; the next games against them are in Berkeley. Plus the remaining road games, except for Washington, are against the league's weaker teams.

Having played 5 of the first 7 Pac-10 games away from home is now going to work in Cal's favor. The Bears have figured out how they are going to play as a team this year, during the tougher part of the schedule, and can now (hopefully) take full advantage.

Well, Gut made the one that counted.

I was watching the first several minutes wondering if the Bears have executed better offense.

I'm showing up for the Arizona game. Where's the Jeff Faraudo sky box?

That got a little close near the end. I think the Bears might have been looking ahead a bit but good teams fight through that. So, over .500 in conference...nice.
