Don’t count your chickens, yet. Everyone was sure Auburn was in trouble. The pay-to-play sccheme, the amount of money involved, the ‘confessions’ by street agents and even his father! In the end, Newton was suspended for less than a day. The NCAA has a small bark and even smaller bite. Oregon has been too transparent in this scandal and has provided documentation without pause. They won’t even receive a slap on the wrist. Besides, the NCAA is targeting the slimy agents, not Oregon.
