Here’s my Cal-USC game preview from this morning’s editions, including three factors that could favor the Bears in the third meeting of the teams this season.
The L.A. Times’ story on the matchup quotes ESPN’s Jay Bilas suggesting the NCAA selection committee may view Cal-USC as an elimination game.

Being an elimination game is a fair analysis, the LA Times Article hardly even mentions Cal’s record and chances. Maybe its for the better – our players should know they need to win the tourney and not focus on the “What ifs”.
