Chill out Bears. It’s spring practice that’s being displaced, not weekly game prep. Actually, it might be good for them to take spring practice on the road, as it will allow them to become accustomed to “going on the road” for all their home games in 2011.

Strawberry Canyon probably got nailed in the March rain. 21 days of rain so far in March. It’s basically a collection point for water running down, the field is even on a slight slope…and put field turf over does nothing. Oh well, Memorial will be get completed.

This mistake is a major screw up and can’t be ignored.
Who the heck is running the show, Sandy, hello? Where are you, do something!
Really burned that our football team can’t practice on campus. There is no reason other than incompetence that this screw up happened.
What a joke.
At least our staff is taking the team on the road for show practices around Nor Cal.
Love that!
Go Bears, fix the field, and get rid of the fools that dropped the ball on our practice field!

Also, the rugby and lax teams still will practice there; reading between the lines, maybe the football team was looking for a reason to practice somewhere else?

This seems like a major screw up. Cal knew that Witter needed to be used. Why wasn’t it properly prepared?
