Deltha was one of the most explosive returners in Cal history maybe compariable to Desean!

Deltha provided the only bright spots in the otherwise dismal ’99 Big Game: Kickoff return for a TD, punt return for a TD and an interception down on the farm. Just think how many more interceptions he would have had if he hadn’t been a running back his first two seasons.

I still think Oneal was the best Cal player ever.

My review of Deltha’s background and statistics as a Cal play confirm what I had long-suspected when watching him play that he scored more points (36) as a defensive and special teams player than any other Cal player (including offensive players) during his senior year. Deltha clearly deserves to be in the Cal Hall of Fame. Thanks for the memories and congratulations to Deltha!

Deltha graduated with his degree! It was tough for him, but he was determined and he did it!
