Football: Tedford, Lynch on “Chronicle Live”

Cal coach Jeff Tedford and former running back Marshawn Lynch will appear on “Chronicle Live” tonight at 5 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area. The show is scheduled to be replayed at 11 p.m. as well.

I think he did. And I also think he didn’t finish his degree, which is a shame. People who don’t finish their degree programs are quitters, but at least he quit to go make lots of money. Imagine if all he did was quit to do something foolish like work in a travel agency.

SC Fans learned that their team can have sanctions. I wonder if they realize the same can be true for individual players and for individual fans?

Cole Porter wrote this great song about how you know when you under someone’s skin. I’ve been listening to that song all day.
I loved how the National Championship for SCgot deleted. Yesterday seemed to be a day of many deletions for SC and it’s fans.

U$C hasn’t won a title in over 30 years, unless you count the “shared” title with LSU in 2003. But no one does.

Has anyone seen ESPN’s 30 for 30 show on SMU’s Pony Express football program from the early 80′s when they were paying players mega-cash? Boosters, except those at USC, apparently, just get more and more clever in how to hide their payments to players because everyone on camera for that show talks openly about receiving briefcases of cash.
Why don’t they just pay these kids?!?!
