Football: USC stripped of title

USC was officially stripped of its 2004 BCS title today. The BCS will leave the title vacant.

    I think its actually a good move to leave the title vacant, that way whenever national championships are discussed and the vacant year is spotted people will recall “oh, right, that was the year that USC was stripped of the title because they cheated. Stupid cheaters.”

    Tennessee AD just stepped down, infractions hearing this week on Tennessee’s major violations in football and basketball. More bad news for Kiffin? Time will tell, but if I was a recruit, I wouldn’t step within 1,000 yards of the University of Sanctions Coming.
