  1. I would guess the next round will be on TV. Dallas Baptist ( I’ve lived in the Dallas -Ft Worth Area and never heard of them) doesn’t draw much nationwide interest.

It was nice seeing the Cal Softball team on ESPN and they had a great live chat too.

  2. FYI, per facebook tickets have sold out for both today’s game and Sunday’s game. However, there is a tailgate being held at a local BBQ joint (Smokeaters) by the Save Cal Baseball people, w/ 20% of the day’s take going to the program. If you don’t have a ticket but still want to be part of the action/want to help out the program, you can go there and have some food and a few college sodas while watching the game on ESPN U.

Little disappointing beartalk didn’t put more info out there about the game. Biggest Cal-related sports event for the next 4 months, and only two posts

  3. Well, 3-0 in the second but I gotta say this is disappointing. Guys not running out popups, getting picked off, almost twice? A reflection on the coach. Whoa! Another pick? Come on guys. You’re not playin like you deserve that $9mm.

  4. Rollon – when you said disappointing and 3-0 I figured we were losing. I have Cal 7 DBP 0 in the 9th

  5. Optometrists?

They settled down. Great game the rest if the way. Wish it could have been played at a larger venue. Thanks for the BBQ tip! Sent my parents there. They loved it. Go bears!!

  6. Sunday (today) should be good for Cal fans. Gregory Peck is starring on Turner Channel in Snows of Kilamanjaro.

Then Jason Kidd leads the Mavs to the title and finally
    Cal Baseball.
