Football: Stevens out for year

Projected starting fullback Eric Stevens will miss the season after an MRI taken Wednesday night revealed he has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
Stevens suffered the injury during practice Wednesday. I spoke with Stevens after practice tonight and will have more a bit later. Will Kapp will take over the starting role.
