Grant Verhoeven, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward from Central Valley Christian HS in Visalia, has scheduled a Sept. 16 visit to Berkeley, according to scout.com.

Verhoeven has a tentative visit slated for Saint Mary’s College for Sept. 23 and a trip confirmed to Stanford for Sept. 30. Scout.com reports his AAU coach says Verhoeven will definitely visit all three schools before making a decision. We’re hearing Cal and Stanford are the leaders.

Verhoeven is rated as the nation’s No. 97 overall prospect by ESPN.com.
