The other day, my mommy was at her country club, and she said it turned out her waiter was someone who had quit law school and then couldn’t hack it as a travel agent.

That was a stupid mistake quittin law school. She said her waiter kept trying to suck up to old blues for a job — tried impressing them with his football knowledge — but once they found out he was a quitter they didn’t want anything to do with him.

Well, sometimes people make stupid mistakes. Sometimes they start a law degree program and then quit! They get their parents upset since they were paying for it — and they have no real good excuse. They tell friends — Oh, I had to take a medical withdrawal — as if having no guts to stay on and win is a medical problem. Quitters are losers. That’s why quitters are often all alone on holiday nights with no friends. Everyone loves winners! No one likes quitters.

Well perhaps Aaron Rodgers gave Obama the message that one could do better and be more popular going to Cal rather than Harvard. Bishop could have enforced the notion on Obama that the only real Bears .. are Cal Bears.
