Basketball: Bad news for USC in Brazil

USC guard Jio Fontan suffered a left knee injury Tuesday during the Trojans’ 81-70 loss to Mogi Das Cruzes on their tour of Brazil. Fontan, who had totaled 57 points in USC’s first two games on the trip, had an X-ray which showed no damage. He is scheduled for an MRI on Wednesday.
