Kennedy-Richmond wide receiver Kenneth Walker called Jeff Tedford this morning after practice to give his oral commitment to Cal. Walker is rated as the No. 62 WR in the country by rivals.com. The Bears now have five commitments for the class of 2012, including two wide receivers (with Bryce Treggs being the other).

Good to see Kenny joining the Cal. Kid is a heck of a competitor! Between Barton and Walker Cal not only picked to of the Bay Area’s top ballers, they also picked up two of the Nation’s top high school hurdlers.

What am I missing here? 62nd ranked wide receiver in the nation? That doesn’t sound like much. Is it the 62nd ranked player in the nation? That would be worthwhile to hoot about.
