If the Cal AD was really serious about getting fans out to the game, they should have organized some transit options to having to drive and park in those miserable lots at the ‘stick. A shuttle bus service from one of the BART stations would have been a big help.

A real fan finds a way to get to the game – so a lot of my friends bought the groupon deal. Hopefully we outnumber fresno state in that category.

A real fan finds a way to get to the game, not how to get out of going.

I’ve always said there aren’t enough true college football fans to consistently fill one stadium in the Bay Area, let alone 2 1/2 (sorry San Jose).

The 707 fans will cross the bridges and represent!

Who wants to go to Candlestick? Not me, that has something to do with low ticket sales. If this game was at the Coliseum you would no doubt see many more Cal fans with tickets. Sorry, I will most likely never make the trek back to Candlestick, ever, even with free tix. Last visit was Sept ’99.

And Fresno fans would follow their team to Alaska if the bulldogs played there. Cal fans, not so much…
