Uh huh, I think this is more of a mental thing that manifested itself in his physical performance on the field than Bigelow suddenly getting into shape in 10 days.

What I mean: indications out of camp were that Bigelow was still adjusting to playing again, and at times appeared tentative and not as fast in game situations as he could be. Then, after watching the Fresno game, Bigelow more or less noticed that he could in fact get out there if he got over his mental hump and pushed his knee to the limit. And it sounds like that is what he did.

Let's just see how he plays. I'm more worried about the knee than anything else. It would be a shame to burn a blueshirt for a game against the blue hose and sit out all season. On another note, a lot are people are going to this game because of that stubhub option norcal mentioned. This is the only game a lot bear fans can afford. I'll be paying the 8 bucks to watch online. Wish I could be there, though.

Best of luck to BB. I hope he's ready physically and mentally, and I'd hate to see him get hurt again. From all the interviews, he seems like a nice, sincere kid and I'm pulling for him... not that I have anything against Isi, CJA, or CJD. They've been troopers as well. I think Isi is underrated... he's not Jahvid Best, Shane Vereen, or Beast Mode, but he runs hard and blocks well.

I have a hard time understanding how 2 weeks (no, 9 days) since the Fresno State game can make a difference for Bigelow.

Honestly.

He was on the sidelines, finally pumped up, and that's when he suddenly found inspiration to be physically fit and running hard? Come on!

More to the point, methinks JT is none too impressed with what he's getting out of Isi. Truthfully, I think he was just using the "not ready, Isi is the starter and you are buried" as a bit of psychological encouragement for Bigelow. I guess it has worked. But it worries me that BB is actually NOT going to be ready.

What's the Over-Under on the Attendance for this game? Based on previous FCS games the past few years I'm thinking 23K will be a good crowd.

Seriously, I'm not making the 90min trip into the city to watch this game, pay $20-30 parking, and $8 beers at the Public House.

I just checked StubHub and LOTS of seats for sale, as cheap as $15 endzone, and only $40 temp sideline 50yd line.

Take the ferry. $15.00 RT each adult head from Jack London Square, Alameda, or Marin(?). It takes you right to A.T.& T. Park 1 hour before the game. Then you catch it back 30 minutes after the game.

Embarcadero is a nicer walk, no doubt. I'd take that route going to the game and take 2nd St. to Montgomery St. on the way back...more bars and restaurants.

I walked down 2nd St. to Montgomery for work for almost 5-6 years so it's instinct...and faster and it's a block or two over 1 mile.

If you get lazy you can take the Muni Metro from ATT into Embaradero station and walk up a level to BART.
