For the second straight week, Sunday is like Tuesday for the Bears as they prepare for Thursday’s game against USC on ESPN. A few quick nuggets before a more thorough report later:
- As expected, CB Marc Anthony didn’t practice. He dislocated his shoulder against Oregon. Jeff Tedford said Anthony is day to day.
- DE Trevor Guyton didn’t practice as well. No further info on his injury right now is available.
- Assuming Anthony doesn’t play, freshman Stefan McClure will start. Defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast said the third corner would be either true freshman Kam Jackson, redshirt freshman Adrian Lee or junior Josh Hill, who will continue to be the nickel back as well.
- Thursday’s game is a near sellout, with only limited view or obstructed seats available at this point.
More to come….
