In baseball you can always tell when a batter (in Little League for instance) has decided before the pitch he’s going to swing no matter what.

That’s Maynard as a qb in a nutshell. Before the snap he knows who he is going to throw it to. Stares them down. Then throws no matter what.

Keenan Allen owes a big thanks to Maynard for forcing passes to him, making Allen in line to become an All-American.

Whatever happened to the reports of Tedford being more hands-on with the QB’s/Offense? If this is the type of Quarterback performance Tedford is churning out with “extra” focus, then I have lost total faith in Maynard and Tedford’s judgment in keeping the kid in.

Is Maynard aware that the DBs are great athletes too? I’m surprised that he was surprised by the speed of PAC 12 play. That tells me he wasnt properly prepared.
