Women’s basketball: Coaches pick Cal 3rd in Pac

The Pac-12 women’s basketball coaches have projected Cal to finish third in the conference.
Stanford was a unanimous pick to win its 12th consecutive women’s title. (Note: The Cardinal received only 11 of 12 first-place votes, but coaches cannot vote for their own team). USC got the remaining first-place vote (from Tara Van Derveer) and finished second in the poll.
