The Butkus Award announced its 12 finalists today, and Cal linebacker Mychal Kendricks wasn’t on the list. Kendricks was on the preseason watch list for the award. Kendricks ranks third in the Pac-12 with 7.9 tackles per game.

That’s too bad, he’s awesome, reminds me of the emerging 49er LB Navarro Bowman. I bet he gets taken in the third round like Bowman did and has a similar impact, great player.

Where can u get all these statistics?? ESPN doesn’t have many of the key conference, team, and individual stats. The last telecast said Kendricks was leading the league in tackles. Where does Burfict rank in tackles? I watched him play in several games and wasn’t impressed; missed tackles, over pursues, average coverage skills, etc. All hype. Last year he had some monster hits… so what? whydfml?

    NCAA.com has all the statistics.

Such as Keenan Allen is leading the Pac-12 in receiving yards with 906 and trails Robert Woods by 12 catches for the Pac-12 leader in receptions, Allen however averages just over 129 yards per game while Woods is just under 129 yards per game.
