If Cobbs can average 10-12 ppg that would be huge. Agree that Solomon and Kamp will need some backup. If the front court depth evolves with Thurman and Kavish, Cal can be very good.

Is it not more judicious to say we are not sure about Murray and Kravish right now?

Either or both may make valuable contributions.

Believe or it not, Rossi is still trying to get healthy. He will not be in uniform tonight and there is no timetable on when he might play.

1. It depends on what you mean by 4th scoring option. If Cal wants this guy to score in double digits on certain nights, I think the answer is yes. If you want him to average double digits, I would say no, for there is only one ball and Crabbe, Gutierrez, Solomon and Kamp will get the majority of touches.

2. Rebounding is a team effort. Defense is a team effort. Crabbe and Solomon are the keys. Everyone else has shown they can play D. It really is up to the sophomores and how much they have developed this aspect of their game. We will know by January.

3. The Cal inside game will depend on Thurman spelling Solomon and forcing teams to play D in the paint, which will allow Kamp to do his thing. Moreover, it will open up Gutierrez slashing style and Crabbe to bomb from Bancroft Ave.

4 As far as Kravish and Murray, I would say no at this point but that is okay if Thurman and Cobbs can develop and spell people ahead of them.
