Analyst John Gasaway has Cal in the final four. Not sure who he is but he’s now my favorite person at evil ESPN. He’s the only one with any PAC 12 team in his final four.

John Gasaway is one of the Basketball Prospectus guys. Very stat-savvy. Though, I suspect in this case, he’s just going out on a limb because, screw it, why not.

It’s nice to get a pick for the Final Four but c’mon, without a dominate big man that’s a tough one.

Conceivably if the front court comes together with depth and a good rotation, Cal can do well and take the Pac but beyond that it’s a stretch.

Really his prediction doesn’t guarantee we’ll make the final four? Thanks.

I’m talking about respect, and at least Gasaway has some for the west and Monty.
