Basketball: Parrom makes return for Arizona

Kevin Parrom, shot in the leg and arm during a visit home to New York City in September, made his season debut Sunday for No. 16 Arizona, contributing six points, four rebounds and two assists to a 73-63 win over Ball State.

The junior wing got a standing ovation from the McKale Center crowd when he entered the game in the first half. He later hit a timely 3-pointer as the Wildcats rallied in the second half from a 38-29 hole at the break.

Kyle Fogg scored 21 points for the Wildcats (3-0) and Solomon Hill contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman point guard Josiah Turner did not play.
