I would hope that long before one’s 70′s a man would have the maturity and wisdom not to engage in punching another person. A man is not dead if he shows some restraint and civility.

Good for Joe. Just because you are in your 70′s doesn’t mean you are dead. At least he has some fight left in him. Would be nice if Tedford did as well.

JF, after a few years of following the bears, you’ll understand why predicting a blowout isn’t in your best interest unless you’re telling a joke. We are cursed. I don’t get why we can’t get past the mental hurdles o a new defensive scheme, or why we always go into “deer in headlights” mode whenever something looks slightly different than what we game plan for, but it always seems to happen, in hoops and on the football field. At least with Monty, he’ll make adjustments. We will probably win this game by 10-20 pts, but I don’t think we’re ready for big time, and unlv and San Diego state could be big disappointments.
