Just read Bleacher Report’s prediction for the first round of the NFL draft.

3 Stanford players – Luck at #1, DeCastro called the best interior lineman in a decade and Martin

3 USC players – Barkley at #4, Kalil anywhere from #2-4 and Nick Perry.

The great players know where to go.

whoop di doo dah day. lots of Cal guys will playing in a bowl game.

The great players do indeed know where to go — Churning out first day draft picks who become NFL superstars is a Cal specialty. At USC (and to a far lesser degree, at Stanford) — lots of overhyped talent which quickly fizzles and disappoints.

Even Pete the Cheat knows this, and went after a Cal player (Marshawn Lynch) to be the face and savior of the franchise, in order to save his job. The result? Skittles rain down from adoring Seahawk fans after every Beastmode highlight-reel run.

Recruits are catching onto this, so expect the number of ESPN150 recruits to double for the third consecutive year (2 to 5 to 10+).

    Great for Kendricks.

I bet he’ll have lots of friends with him on New Year’s Eve.
