That might have been the best game the Bears have played so far this season. Without Jorge and Richard, and with Harper not 100%. The 3-pointers were going in; one from Cobbs looked like a Jerome Randle special.

I got to the game right at tip off, then realized “someone” was missing on the court. It took a few minutes, because I was distracted by all the 3-pointers. I had no idea why Jorge wasn’t playing, so I was very concerned about the reason for the rest of the game.

The Bears seem to have a knack for making the top national scorers look bad…

Great night at Haas and real good crowd.
Loved the energy.
Jorge and Soloman out and we play like that, if those two can come back and we play as hard and well together as we did tonight and this could be a big year.
unlv will be a tough one but I think our team is starting to turn the corner and is up for the challenge.

What an inspiring game. Everybody hustled. It felt like they all wanted to make Jorge proud. Good crowd, too. Biggest of the season by far. Great night at Haas!

momentum swings in the game of basketball can really be painful, but our inability to not only score, but to hold onto the ball, with 35 or fewer seconds left in the half…that’s just legendary.
