Nice win all around. A few comments as per the beginning of conference play:

1. Solomon’s injury / suspension has almost been a blessing in disguise for Kravish who is now playing with confidence with the first group. Same goes for Thurman!

2. Cobbs is a much better offensive threat than Smith and with Smith now coming off of the bench, it adds another piece for Monty to use on that now extended bench.

Great day for college basketball! I get to see Cal thrash UCLA on TV and Cal has such a nice lead by the end I can safely switch and watch Indiana beat Ohio State! OSu had only lost one game -at Kansas and that was without Sullinger.

In the first half, was it good UCLA offense or bad Cal defense. The second half, Cal had effort and execution, and UCLA missed a good number of open shots they made in the first. Best half for Cal all year.

In both halves, the refs were beyond explanation.

Add the combined IQ of Steve Physioc and Marques Johnson. Divide by the combined IQ of a Pac-12 officiating crew. Is the number more or less than 1?

Joey in every post you have complained about the refs and this goes back to last year.

We should be up by 15.

We are up by 1 at home vs #167 on RPI and that was before the Stanford loss. Now someone is going to Spin this and say _ but UCLA was good in 4 of its last 5 games or USC wasn’t playing seriously in its pre conference schedule. I don’t buy it.
