Basketball: Ducks sweep in the desert

What a weekend for the Ducks . . .

   — Oregon 69, Arizona 67: The Ducks (13-5, 4-2) pulled off just their second road sweep of the Arizona teams in 33 years, winning for the third time on the road in the conference. Transfers Devoe Joseph and Olu Ashaolu each scored 13 points and Garrett Sim and E.J. Singler scored 12 apiece for UO. Arizona (12-6, 3-2), which trailed by 17 points in the second half, got 16 points from Solomon Hill.

   — Stanford 84, Colorado 64: The Cardinal (15-3, 5-1) kept pace with Cal atop the Pac-12 standings by pulling away to rout the Buffaloes (11-6, 3-2). Freshman Chasson Randle scored 18 for Stanford. Andre Roberson led Colorado with 15.

   — Arizona State 76, Oregon State 66: The Sun Devils (6-11, 2-3) got 23 points from Chanse Creekmur to beat the staggering Beavers (11-7, 1-5) in Tempe. Kyle Cain, one of three ASU players suspended last weekend, had 16 points and eigh rebounds off the bench. Devon Collier scored 21 points for OSU, which shot 37.5 percent.
