Basketball: TV? Not for the Bears

By Jeff Faraudo
Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at 11:07 am in Basketball, Gameday.

The TV listings in our sports sections this morning show that, depending on your cable or satellite package, you can watch 33 college basketball games today.

Thirty-three!

That includes Central Florida at UAB and Long Island at Wagner, for crying out loud.

But not the Cal-WSU game. It’s not on TV. Not here. Not anywhere.

You can watch UCLA at Oregon, Stanford at Washington, Arizona at Colorado and USC at Oregon State.

But not the Pac-12′s first-place team.

TV also will bypass the wretched matchup featuring Arizona State at Utah, perhaps left off the air to meet FCC standards of decency.

    Not a problem next year.

True, true, but if U of A or UCLA were atop the PAC 12, there would be trucks heading to eastern Washington state through treacherous weather like a few days ago. Massacre the Cougars and announce it to the world like FDR used to in his fireside chats! GO BEARS!

Cal fans are non-existent on national sports threads -that along with a horrible Pac12= no interest.
