You know what’s weird. Drew never uncommitted from Cal. So I’m not sure why everyone ran with this story.

He originally gave a silent verbal to Cal. One site published the news (when they weren’t supposed to). And now his commitment is public.

It’s not like he said he uncommitted after Tosh / Keisau. Sort of weird, but whatevers.

Drew is a very good football player. He is the type of talent we had throughout the program when we were really good from 02-06. If the Bears continue to bring in players as versatile and hungry as Drew we’ll be doing great.
Fired up another local stud is part of this class.
Can’t wait for LOI day. Will be a great day.

I have this feeling that the two new coaches are going to pay positive dividends down the road. We may lose one or two due to the timing of the departure of Benedict Lupoi and his sidekick, but it is my gut feeling that these two additions will win big recruiting battles in the not so distant future.
