I understand those who say he would be better as an assistant coach but seriously that is somewhat demeaning for a hall of famer. Let his assistant coaches do some of the tasks- keep Jason teaching kids the game and for recruiting.

He’d be a great asset as an assistant or a recruiter though.

I’ve never seen a smarter player who sees the court and all the passing angles. Does that translate into a good coach? Who knows? But Kidd is definitely much more than brawn.
