Pac-12: Marshawn Lynch, Teri McKeever to help with Pac-12 Studios ground-breaking in S.F.

Former Cal football star Marshawn Lynch and Bears swim coach Teri McKeever also coach of the U.S. Olympic women’s team — will participate in ceremonies Monday to celebrate the start of construction on the Pac-12 Enterprises’ facility that will become home to the Pac-12 Network and  Pac-12 Digital Network.

Construction of the first wall of Studio 1 and demolition of another wall will begin the project at 370 Third Street in San Francisco.

The Pac-12 Network will launch in August, and will deliver 850 live Pac-12 sporting events each year, along with original studio programming.

Also participating in the ground-breaking ceremonies will be Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee, along with athletes including Jennifer Azzi (Stanford women’s basketball), Ronnie Lott (USC football), Kim Oden (Stanford women’s volleyball) and J.T. Snow (Arizona baseball).
