I suppose when you have no life and your only social outlet you have is trolling on the blog of a college sports program you profess to despise, posts like the above are to be expected. But they certainly speak volumes about the intellectual and mental maturity of the poster. I guess being anonymous provides enough cover that the troll does not mind revealing its own shortcomings and cognitive defects by continuing to post such predictable and brain dead rubbish here.

I’ve posted this before, but the Pac-12 needs to invest some of the windfall from the TV contracts in proper training for officials — both football and basketball. The way they call games it seems like they have marching orders from the league to favor one team over the other. It’s a disgrace.

Are you going to start suggesting that I will make excuses for Tedford? That would constitute slander in some states.

With that said, this team wilted in every big opportunity game this season. I don’t think it’s fair to call them losers, and technically they are winners as they have a winning record- BUT – this team had EVERY chance to win games that would truly establish themselves as a top 25 team and had EVERY chance to nail down a conference championship – and FAILED each and every time. Mizzou, SDSU, UNLV, and too mnay to list in conference play, but we can at least throw the last 2 games in there. Think about it.

And this with 2 senior leaders in Harper and Jorge. For me, this season is a bit of a disappointment, we were favored to win the championship by many “experts”, and we came close, but didn’t get it done. And this is in a very mediocre Pac 12 this season. Chances like this don’t come along often, times will be tougher in coming seasons- this was a golden opportunity squandered over and over and over again.

They showed some mettle to get back into the game today – after playing like garbage for most of it- and showed very little poise on offense- rushing, forcing shots- they looked panicked instead of relaxing and running their offense- and this in their 31st game of the season? That’s terrible.

Missed free throws in crunch time, failing to box guys out, especially on free throws, etc. Stanford wanted it more and played better and deserved to win. Same thing vs. Colorado. I want to believe these guys have heart, but a team with real heart, toughness and leadership would have found a way to win one of these last 2 games. I’m not saying they have none, just not enough to be a championship team- hello Captain Obvious, I know. I expected more out of a Montgomery coached team and with seniors like Jorge and Harper. Yes, our bench is non-existent, and that is a huge issue- but still, the opportunities were there many times, we never grabbed one of them.

I don’t expect much in the NCAA tournament, and if they don’t win a game in the P12 tournament, they may find themselves on the bubble, or worse, in the NIT. Sounds crazy, but it could happen. If that does happen, there won’t be much to be upset about. They didn’t deliver when it was time.

Sorry to seem harsh, but I think this is the truth.

Finally, is the Moron actually here gloating about our basketball team coming in second? As bad as the loser Trojans were again this year … priceless. And classless. As usual.
