No one wants to go to LA for the tourney. It’s a long trip for people from Oregon/Washington, Co/Utah. Only people that go are locals so it’s limited to alumni from other P12 schools that live nearby. Heck, not even local LA people want to go to the tourney, especially when the LA schools suck.

However, everyone wants to go to NYC for a few days.

I agree with BlueNGold. You’d never see 500 at MSG for the Big East tourney. Staples, and LA for that matter, is a joke! Head to Vegas now, or just cancel the whole thing altogether. Larry Scott has his work cut out for him to generate buzz for the tourney this year, that’s for sure!

Seems like every year the Pac tournament is sparsely attended up until the final few games. But the conference big wigs keep going back to the same venue and format year after year. Is it just me, or does something seem to be wrong with this picture?
