Basketball: Kamp earns scholar-athlete award

Cal senior Harper Kamp was named Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, commissioner Larry Scott announced.
The 18th player in school history to collect at least 1,000 points and 500 rebounds for his career, Kamp maintains a 3.17 grade-point average in American studies and will graduate in May.
Kamp is a two-time second-team all-conference pick.
This season, Kamp has started all 31 of Cal’s games and is averaging 11.3 ppg, 5.1 rpg, and is shooting 55.5-percent from the field. He ranks third in school history for all-time career games with 130.

Harper is playing great basketball and is Mr consistency.
Sure he’s happy about the award but even happier about the win tonight!
Congrats Mr. Kamp.
Go for that Pac tourney championship.
