Basketball: Pac-12 tournament moves to Vegas

As expected, the Pac-12 Conference announced today the league tournament will move next season to the MGM Grand at Las Vegas. The conference signed a three-year contract with the MGM. Cal coach Mike Montgomery expressed support for the move a week ago. Here’s more.
Meanwhile . . .
— UCLA announced that coach Ben Howland will return for his 10th season.
— Three Pac-12 teams begin play with home games tonight in the NIT. Texas-Arlington visits Washington, LSU is at Oregon and Cleveland State travels to Stanford.
— Washington State is at San Francisco on Tuesday night in the CBI.

Awesome! It should have never been approved to just have the tourney in LA, right in $c’s backyard, the ghetto.
I will try to make it to Vegas next year, I would never have traveled to LA though. Good move pac12.
