A Pac-12 newcomer keeps the conference alive in the NCAA tournament . . .
– Colorado 68, UNLV 64: The Buffaloes (24-11) gave away most of a 20-point lead, but held on to knock of the sixth-seeded Runnin’ Rebels (26-9) at Albuquerque, N.M. Askia Booker scored 16 points off the bench for CU while Austin Dufault had 14 points and Andre Roberson had 12 points and 16 rebounds. UNLV shot 32 percent.

Colorado is legit. And I actually have to say that Roberson should have been DPOY, he is monstrous under the hoop.

Colorado is tough to play against and when they hit their shots they are really good. They have been hitting a lot of shots lately but they’ll have a dry spell soon.

Colorado used to constantly rank in the top 3 for party schools nationally.
At least they did when I was in school. Them and ASU and Chico State were always top 3.
All great and I mean great academic institutions. If you don’t count the academic portion.

JEFF, great Patriarch and Viceroy of our blog, please be advised that Cal football has got their first recruit for next year – QB Jared Goff from Marin Catholic.
A heck (<if it wasn't lent I would have typed hell) of a quarterback.

Ironic, given that last year’s team might have been even better, but were sent to NIT. They are playing well right now, I kinda hope they beat the Bears…the Baylor Bears. (hello, Gary Franklin)
