Pfft . . . well, that was fast. Goodbye to the Pac-12 in the NCAA tournament . . .
– Baylor 80, Colorado 63: The Pac-12 tournament champion Buffaloes (24-12) were outscored 43-28 in the second half by the third-seeded Bears (29-7). Brady Heslip hit nine 3-pointers and scored 27 points to lead Baylor. Freshman guard Askia Booker led Colorado with 15 points.

For those Cal Bear MBB fans who still care about the tourney, I noticed that Franklin was a DNP for Baylor.

Franklin plays the third *least* minutes on that team. His shooting percentage is still horrendous. Good riddance.
On a similar note, D’End Parker who committed to the bears out of juco last year but then decommitted once ucla offered, barely played for them. That turned out to be the wrong choice for him and, boy, could we have used him.

I kept looking for Franklin and he kept not playing. I’m sure he’s greatly advancing his prospects as an NBA point guard though.
He was definitely addition by subtraction.

Baylor -although I don’t like them has a much better team than Cal -it is much harder to break into the lineup.
Doesn’t monty share any responsibility for the recruitment and departure of this guy?
