That being said, it is a nice feather in Furd’s cap to say they won the NIT. There is no shame in it, and it does give something to the Pac-12. Congrats to them for having a terrific ending to a ho-hum season.

Stanford can’t even say that. How many post-season tournaments are there now? Five?
