RE: C Hunt. Thank God we got Coach Michalczik(sp) back. The man can coach and recruit.

Unlike the ‘ho. Be interesting to see how the uw dl plays this year. Like many have said here, the ‘ho is clearly a great recruiter but a bad position coach.

Roll, BGB, I’m geeked about the upcoming season, too. As one of those JT Kool Aide drinkers, I look forward to the coming thread battles with Juancho and you other Fire-Tedfords. But, as usual, with NO ill will and no name calling.

Cameron hunt a pretty good offensive tackle from socal commited to Cal. Also Elijah Qualls a five star from pleasanton commited to tosh.

Of the big 3 recruits from the bay area that we were in the running for, one is left, eddie vanderdoes. It looks like hes leaning oregon, but well see. Like we learned last year everything can change in a toshbeat.

Recruiting. But were swinging and missing this year due to the tosh loss. Hutchings the top linebacker in the country from de la salle committed to usc last week. This time last year we were building a freight train of momentum for a monster class.

When tosh left and some thiught his effect would be felt next year, well that is now. And that in part is why its so quiet on the football front.

True. I guess maybe something about Cal Memorial Stadium might be nice though. Or user poll on the new playoff structure. Maybe something about Ohio State tickets. How fast they sold out. Recruiting news? A profile on one of the new players coming in? Lots of stuff to talk about. Anyway, I’m just excited and antsy is all. And for a while the other day, this whole site was down. That freaked me out a bit. Nothing about that was ever mentioned. Did CC times forget to pay their bill?

Roll On: So I feel your pain on the lack of football coverage but what is there to cover this time of year? Coaches are all on vacation and the players are in summer school working to stay eligible. Can’t wait for fall camp to open, even if all we get is an abbreviated report since JT limits reporters access to the first few minutes of each workout.

Bonus olympic sport coverage is great, but if it came down to a football game and a cal alum swimming for gold, I’d be tuned into the football game. Maybe have the swim in the picture in picture. I’m really missing football coverage. Something, anything, would be great.
