We didn’t want him. #47 ranked OT in the country wouldn’t be able to be a waterboy at USC.

  2. rob bear Says:

Nice pickup Bears. Lots to work with here. Not sure what #47 means, but I once read that A. Rodgers was a 3 Star college recruit and we all know how that turned out.

  3. calgrizzlybear Says:

coach M took a 2 star recruit ALEX MACK and turned him into a 1st round NFL draft pick …

  4. ConcordBear Says:

I’ll take a coach M recruit and coached OL any day.
    Heart, pride and character.
    Go Bears

  5. rollonubears Says:

This sounds like great news to me. Too bad he can’t be here this fall.

  6. BlueNGold Says:

“We” is a non sequitur, moron. On the other hand, if moron is representative of ‘we’, why would anyone care what “we” did or did not do?

  7. Juancho Says:

Rodgers was a 4 star recruit out of Butte.

  8. ScottyBear Says:

Moren, you weren’t able to be a waterboy at USC either, despite all your begging and pleading. This is why you have had to settle for being a major USC jock sniffer. Pathetic.

  9. Larry Says:

Anyone know what happened to T. Briggs? he is not listed on the roster any longer.

  10. Dan Says:

What does it matter other than hopefully having a lot of talent here when The Tedford era has finally run it’s course and we hopefully get a guy who can get more of of talent than less out of talent.

Also, Larry at #9, didn’t we hear that Briggs has left the program and is looking for a place to transfer? I know the Aztec blogs are ablaze with many hoping he ends up on Montezuma Mesa wearing Red and Black. Pretty sure he’s left Berkeley- but I may be either wrong or premature in stating this. Wish him well whatever he decides.

I see that many schools, including Boise State, Washingto, and Utah made offers to our guy. if Chris Peterson and Kyle Willingham think he is worthy of playing for them, I am happy we offered him and he chose us.

  12. ScottyBear Says:

Pete Carroll handshake agreement to coach the Bears in 2013! This rumor keeps circulating. Any other insight out there?

  13. MoreNCsarecoming Says:

HAHAHAHA…we landed another one right out of your own backyard. Just like I predicted.

#12 – My sources tell me it is a laughable rumor spread by Cal state fans.

I am not kidding either. It is the same source who gave me a lot of inofrmation about USC during the Carroll era which I promptly posted on this board for all to see. I was never wrong.

  15. BlueNGold Says:

    ‘we’? HAHAHAHAHA

Never wrong? How can that be when you cannot tell the truth?

  16. MoreNCsarecoming Says:

    Congrats are in order again.

You just landed a 3 star, No. 78 WR in the country. He also had offers from Houston, Duke, Hawaii, Nevada and SDSU.

You guys are really finding them from the bottom of the barrell. LOL
