Basketball: No better on Day 2 for Gutierrez

Another rough outing for Cal product Jorge Gutierrez at the NBA’s Las Vegas summer league.

The 2012 Pac-12 Player of the Year had two points, three rebounds, no assists and five turnovers in just over 12 minutes as the Denver Nuggets lost 88-77 to the Dallas Mavericks.

Gutierrez shot 1 for 4 from the field, had one steal and three fouls.

That was the biggest loser/lame post anyone has ever made. Congrats to you, Vanna has some lovely parting gifts for you and your family.

This is basketball, nobody cares about the college of spoiled children, where you can be a moron but if your parents are rich, you’re in.

Funny that the SC douchebag is reading basketball posts. Wasn’t SC 1-15 in conference this year? Seriously, that’s not a good record, is it?

Interesting that Jorge is picking up a lot of fouls.

Is he fouling because he gets behind? Or do the NBA refs see his play a little differently than the PAC12/college officials?

I recall he got in foul trouble early when Cal played Duke in the NCAA’s a few years ago. I figured it was because those ref’s hadn’t seen Jorge-style defense.
