Football: Lynch arrested on suspicion of DUI

A bad weekend for former Cal sports stars.

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch joined New York Knicks point guard Jason Kidd in the headlines for alcohol-related missteps after being arrested for suspicion of DUI in his hometown of Oakland.

Kidd was involved in a single-car accident in New York and, according to a story in the New York Post, told police he had no idea how he crashed his car into a power pole.

I loved this comment on the SFGate article on Lynch getting busted…

“What did you expect from someone who only got a 3.2 GPA as a Social Welfare major:

anyone with half a brain would’ve gotten at least a 3.9 in that.”

    Good one!!!!

  • rob bear

He, Lynch, uses the other half of his brain to dodge fast linemen & backers in the NFL.

3.2 in any major is pretty good, considering the amount of time spent practicing and conditioning to compete as a world class athlete as this guy named Marshawn did.

EZ-dba doesn’t have a clue. Can you imagine this hapless sap going out of his way to actually contemplate and dwell on negative thoughts on an SF Gate article that has nothing to do with him? A sad way to spend the day EZ-dba. Change the channel homes…Too funny…

Pretty shameful for Lynch, I must admit. And yet, he still has more of a life than Moren LOL.

Here are a couple of more comments on SF Gate on the Lynch DUI…

    Nice mug shot!

“Let’s see – what was his major at Cal? I think it was astro-physics with a mathematics minor”

Here is another one from mahwend

“My favorite Marshawn Lynch quote was after he scored a TD and on the sideline, during the Holiday Bowl he stated, “Yeaahh, I’ve worked for this. I’ve worked hard for this. Working… 365 days a week!”

  • covinared

too bad you weren’t in his path.

  • Will

Ouch, Covina. Moren is a pathetic low-life, but no one deserves that, even if it would put him out of his misery.

  • Kidd, now Lynch!?! Take away their licenses..for ever. These guys are certainly both sporting geniuses, not so much in other realms I am afraid. grrrr…

  • 707 Bear

    Lynch + cars= Trouble

Didn’t he clip a pedestrian in Buffalo?
Busted in a car for weed?

  • Easy Ed

I give up! These guys are amazing. ever hear of a designated driver, with the money they make they could hire a clown to go out with them and stay sober.

BTW Moron, Lynch and Kidd haven’t murdered anyone yet. Go OJ, Cheat on!

  • MoreNCsarecoming

#10 – Robert Rozier and Marriet Ford = convicted murderers

  • Rozier was a transfer student, only at Cal 2 years. Never heard of Ford. I’ve heard of O.J. Simpson though, and his murder trial of the century. He’s pretty much the personification of all this $c, arrogant, prone to cheat and unfortunately murderous to boot! I bet he is driving around right now looking for his wife’s murderer! LOL.

  • That was actually the DOUBLE-murder trial of the century, forgot about poor Mr. Goldman. O.J. slashed him to pieces too. But man, could he run the ball for $c…I’d forgive him if he played for my team…not.

  • MoreNCsarecoming

#12 – you like so many of your fans have such a laughable knowledge of college football.

You say that Rozier was a transfer student, only at Cal 2 years. In suspect by using that qualifier you are attempting to protect UCB’s reputation. Exactly how many years did OJ play at USC? Wasn’t he also a 2 year transfer from SFCC?

Unlike OJ, Marriet Ford is a convicted arsonist and murderer who also had a hand in the play that never happened. Go do a Google search on him.

LOL. The UCB fans on this board are laughable!

  • MoreNCsarecoming

OJ was never convicted and, by the way, the judge in the case was a Cal state pucla and ucb law grad.

One of the most amazingly incompetent judgeships in recent history.

  • OJ – will always and forever be associated with 2 things: $c football and the knife-slashing murders of his ex-wife and her boyfriend. Not necessarily in that order.

You’d have to be a total loser to associate the names of Marriet Ford and Robert Rozier with Cal football, never heard of them myself until somebody mentioned them here. Hmmm…who could that have been? But your average Joe CERTAINLY knows all about $c poster child OJ AND his off the field “transgressions.”

  • BlueNGold

hey moron- have you always been a blatant hypocrite, or is it just since you embarked on your career path as a trash talking troll?
