Cal’s players reported on Friday and the Bears will conduct their first practice Saturday afternoon.

There is lots for coach Jeff Tedford and his squad to accomplish over the next four weeks, leading to the Sept. 1 opener at renovated Memorial Stadium against Nevada.

I’ll be at Saturday’s practice and will provide a report. In the meantime, here’s my camp preview, with a look at five areas the Bears will focus on as they prep for the season.
