Juancho,

Not sure I'm going, and also not sure how you would set this up, but this Cal event or, better yet, a future Cal football game, would be a great opportunity to get together with fellow Cal sports fans who write into this blog. Maybe you can get a couple of tables reserved at a back table at Kips with a sign posted on the table indicating who is sitting there ("Cal sports blog commentators," though something much shorter would be better. You could announce the time and location in several future Cal sports blogs.

This morning my screensaver was up, which is a full-screen image of the new stadium rendering. I always thought something didn't look quite right in the new end zones. The color is definitely correct, but the CALIFORNIA font is super thin and spaced out. It looks a little odd juxtaposed with the other end zone. In the rendering, the letters were bunched together and much thicker. It was GOLDEN BEARS that was supposed to be a little thinner and spaced out. It's not a big deal, but it does look a little strange, and I'd be willing to bet the turf company screwed up the order again. I don't know why I'm so inclined to nitpick, but I am. I'm still elated with the stadium, though.
